The Lower Moreland Police Department announced the arrest of Kiev Rucker, 38, who is accused of stealing a white Chevrolet box truck on April 7.
According to the report, the vehicle was seen traveling westbound on County Line Road and Bustleton Pike in Huntingdon Valley and had a distinctive decal on the side depicting sliced bread or food.
Police spotted the truck on April 8 and conducted a traffic stop. Rucker told officers that the vehicle was reported stolen in error due to a dispute with the registered owner. After verifying the vehicle’s stolen status, Rucker was found to have a suspended license, police said.
Further investigation revealed that the owner had reported the vehicle stolen, alleging that Rucker, a former employee, had copied a key. Rucker was arrested for the charges below:
