Former Lower Moreland School District superintendent Scott A. Davidheiser has been appointed the Boyertown Area School District’s new superintendent.
Davidheiser’s tenure at Lower Moreland spanned six years after stepping down from the position at the end of the 2023-2024 school year. According to Mainline Media News, he has been serving as “substitute assistant superintendent” for the past four months.
In a press release, officials said that Davidheiser has “provided steady leadership and established strong relationships with students, staff, families, and the community during his time at Boyertown. This experience has equipped him with a deeper understanding of the district’s strengths and opportunities, positioning him to make an immediate and positive impact.”
“Dr. Davidheiser is the ideal candidate to lead our district into the future,” Board President Anthony Panarello said in the release. “His extensive background in education, combined with his collaborative approach, aligns perfectly with our district’s mission and values.”
