The region’s first Dill Dinkers pickleball complex officially opened its doors in Lansdale on Friday, and a second Hatboro location is expected to open later this year, The Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
The forthcoming 48,000 sf facility will be located at Hatboro’s Station Park, a mixed-used commercial building at 330 Warminster Road. It will feature 18 courts.
The courts were initially expected to open by August. The Lansdale location’s opening was pushed back as well due to construction delays.

Regional developer Andrew Wakefield said each location costs roughly $500,000, and that three more sites in our region are in the making.
The combined paid membership for the two sites is approaching 500. Annual memberships are priced at $400 for individuals, $750 for couples and $1,150 for families of up to five. Members then pay $6.75 per person per hour for court time. Visitors are charged $13.50 per person per hour.
Pickleball, which grew in popularity during the pandemic, is the fastest growing sport in the country as of 2022, according to the Sports and Fitness Industry Association.
