Myron Waxman, 1948 graduate of Cheltenham High School and a Korean War veteran, has passed away at 95

Myron Waxman, a 1948 graduate of Cheltenham High School and a Korean War veteran, passed away on Wednesday, September 11 with his family by his side. He was 95 years old.

According to his obituary, Mr. Waxman was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army’s Corps of Engineers and was a former executive in the liquor industry for 60 years.

A resident of Dresher at the time of his passing, Mr. Waxman was also a 1952 alumnus of Temple University School of Business.

“Myron was an enthusiastic exerciser and walker, he began each day at 6A.M. with his routine. He loved sports, especially the local teams and followed Temple, the Phillies, Sixers and the Eagles. His greatest love continued to be his family, and he took great pride in the legacy of four generations,” his obituary said.

Services will be held at J. Levine & Sons Memorial Chapels, 4737 Street Road Trevose, on Sunday, September 15 at 12:00pm.
