The Cheltenham High School girls’ basketball team will host the Lower Moreland Lions on Friday, January 26 at 7:00pm.

The “Coaches vs. Cancer” game invites the community to donate to the American Cancer Society. Money raised will be put towards cancer research, patient support, and advocacy efforts. From the fundraiser’s description:

Why I Support the American Cancer Society

Cancer has affected so many people I know and love that it’s inspired me to join with the American Cancer Society. I’m participating to inspire hope for those facing  cancer and raising money to help end cancer as we know it, for everyone. 

The funds I’m raising will sustain critical research and provide services for people trying to cope with their cancer experience. Believe me, every dollar really does count, so I’m asking you to please donate today. Together, we can make a big difference in the fight against cancer.

The Panthers are 8-9 this season. Lower Moreland is 11-4.
