The National Weather Service is predicting 1-2 inches of snow in our region beginning late Monday through Tuesday.
According to forecasters, the region has gone 714 consecutive days without getting at least one inch of snow.
The snow will be accompanied by freezing temperatures for several days, forecasters said. Montgomery County officials have issued a Code Blue weather advisory from Saturday, January 13 until Thursday, January 18.
During this time, either the temperature or the wind chill is expected to be below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
