An area resident recently shared an antiquated gem: The Gallery of Homes coloring book from the 1960s published by a former real estate company, Balaban Inc., of Abington Township.

From their Facebook post:

This coloring book from real estate developer Balban, of properties IN ABINGTON, is a hoot!! Check out the model homes, do you see your house?? A friends? It’s a fun look!

According to the book’s cover, Balaban Inc. was a member of The Gallery of Homes, an international Realty network, and was once located at 1167 Old York Road. The company would have been adjacent to former Abington Antique Shop and its well-known white horse.
