Drs. Maya and Kala Johnstone are twin owners of Foodchasers’ Kitchen in Elkins Park. They’re also respected authors and former school principals of the Philly school system.

The twins and Foodchasers’ Kitchen were recently visited by Philadelphia Eagles’ star quarterback Jalen Hurts, who gave a pregame interview and cheesesteak-making lessons to Thursday Night Football’s Taylor Rooks. Check out the video:

One month ago, the kitchen was featured on FOX29 News after singer/musician Lizzo made a cameo in the restaurant before playing a concert in Philadelphia.
