86 new apartments are planned at 165 Township Line Road in the Wyncote section of Cheltenham Township, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
The new development is proposed at a site roughly 1,000 feet from SEPTA’s Jenkintown-Wyncote Regional Rail station. The property was sold to 165 Town Line Holdings LLC in 2025.
According to The Inquirer’s coverage, the project includes two existing structures which would become an office space and a 36-unit apartment building. A third, 50-unit apartment complex with a 79-car parking garage and a retail space on the ground floor would be constructed.

Plans also include a repainted parking lot to increase spaces from 135 to more than 160, The Inquirer said, noting that the project “is expected to net about half a million dollars annually for the township and Cheltenham School District … and house an estimated six school-aged children.”
The plans were reviewed by the Montgomery County Planning Commission, which called for more pedestrian and cyclist access and improvements to stormwater management. Cheltenham Township’s Shade Tree Advisory Commission and board of commissioners are expected to review the proposal at undetermined dates.
In January, longtime occupant National Philanthropic Trust announced plans to relocate from 165 Township Line Road to Conshohocken.
More to come.
