31 new positive tests for Coronavirus and two deaths in Montgomery County

Montgomery County officials announced today that a Plymouth Township resident who tested positive for Coronavirus has died. The Plymouth Township victim was an 86-year-old female. A second victim announced today was from Rockledge. The total number of deaths thus far is 10 in the county.

As of today, there are 595 positive cases, which is 31 more than yesterday.

The county’s test site at Temple’s Ambler campus has tested 2,636 so far as of this morning (before it opened). 55% of the test results are back and 13% have been positive. Please note that Montgomery County only receives back the test result data for its residents.

  • Abington Township is at 45, which is one more than yesterday
  • Cheltenham Township is at 41, which is three more than yesterday
  • Jenkintown is at five, which is the same as yesterday
