The 24th annual Jenkintown Festival of the Arts will be held on Sunday, September 15 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at Town Square.
The event, which is held across seven blocks in Jenkintown Borough, features an outdoor art gallery, food, music, and vendors.
Organizers note that the Borough will begin street cleaning in Town Square and municipal parking lots at 7:00am on Saturday, September 14. No parking will be allowed on the festival route during this time. The following streets are affected:
- West Avenue from York Road to Cedar Street
- Leedom Street from West Avenue to Summit Avenue
- Greenwood Avenue from Cedar Street to York Road
- Johnson Street from West Avenue to Cherry Street
No Parking areas will be posted and the roads will be re-opened as soon as possible afterwards.

On Sunday, September 15, the following roads will be closed starting at 9:00am, but cars must be removed by 7:00am. No access will be given to residents until the fest is completed after 6:00pm:
- West Avenue from York Road to Cedar Street
- Leedom Street from West Avenue to Summit Avenue
- Greenwood Avenue from Cedar Street to York Road
- Johnson Street from West Avenue to Cherry Street
- Greenwood Avenue Parking Lot (next to Pioneer Fire Company/VFW)
- Leedom Street Lot (corner of Leedom Avenue and Greenwood Avenue in Town Square)
The event is hosted by the Jenkintown Community Alliance (JCA), a 301c Non-Profit organization. All proceeds benefit and support the work the JCA does in the Borough.
