The Friends of Bishop McDevitt announced that the 2025 Lancer Football Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 2, at 7:00pm at LuLu Country Club (1600 S Limekiln Pike, Glenside). 

Cocktails will be served beginning at 6:00pm with a buffet dinner at 7:00pm.

In related news, Friends of Bishop McDevitt received the school’s official school flag after four years of absence, and roughly 350 copies of “The Realm” that were in a storage closet at a neighboring school.

“It is still in good shape and just needs a new pole and maybe a little ironing but it will look good in The McDevitt Room!” a post said.

“An inventory will be taken and then we will post which editions are available for our alumni,” the post said. “A special thanks to former McDevitt teacher Joan Kearney and former McD Director of Advancement Kristen Conran for helping us.”
