Zaire Franklin, a 2014 graduate of La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor and team captain of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, returned to his alma mater this week to host his fourth annual Business Academy for local students.

The Business Academy is an extension of Shelice’s Angels, a nonprofit organization that Franklin founded in 2019.

“Zaire is living our mantra of ‘Leave To Serve’ everyday in the Indianapolis @coltscommunity, as well as here in the Philadelphia area,” La Salle College High School said in a Facebook post.

Franklin made headlines in December after receiving a nomination for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
