Wyndmoor youth named to The National Brotherhood of Snowsports’ 2026 team roster

Desmond Campbell, a resident of Wyndmoor (Springfield Township) and a competitive alpine ski racer, has been named to The National Brotherhood of Snowsports’ (NBS) team roster.

He is one of 35 athletes from around the country named to the 2026 roster.

The NBS is a national nonprofit “representing the largest and longest-standing network of Black and Brown Snowsports athletes in the United States,” according to a press release. The nonprofit organization provides athletes with financial support, coaching access, structured competitive tiers, and a long-term pathway designed to help underrepresented competitors advance through regional, national, and international levels of the sport. A member of Blue Mountain Racing, Campbell has been skiing since he was three years old and was featured by FOX29 in February 2024.
