Wyncote man confesses to viewing and sharing child pornography

Nabil Nisar, 26, of the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike in Wyncote, confessed to the possession of child pornography on his cellphone, amounting to two felony counts. He has been ordered by a Montgomery County judge to report to jail on November 4.

Nisar was sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months in the county jail, five years’ probation following parole, and will be required to report his address to state police for 15 years.

His investigation began in March 2021 when county detectives received a CyberTip from social media platform Kik. According to the arrest affidavit, Kik provided 18 video files on Nisar’s Kik account which displayed minors engaging in prohibited sexual acts and infants being sexually abused.

Following a search warrant and a forensic review, detectives found 200 images of minors engaged in similar acts on Nisar’s cellphone. Nisar later confessed to viewing and sharing child pornography files through the Kik app.
