Woman on Most Wanted list for stealing and altering a check from Huntingdon Valley Post Office has been arrested

The Lower Moreland Township Police Department announced the arrest of Diani Indelicato-Spady, 21, on Thursday, May 30.

In April, the department placed Indelicato-Spady on Crimewatch’s Most Wanted list after she allegedly stole and altered a check place in a mailbox at the Huntingdon Valley Post Office at 830 Welsh Road.

An arrest warrant was first issued on January 22.

An investigation began after two checks were reported stolen from the post office’s mailbox on August 3, 2022. The victim reported that they had mailed three checks between July 22 and July 24, 2022. Two of the three checks mailed never reached their intended destinations, the victim said, adding that one of those two checks had been altered and/or counterfeited and deposited into another Citizen’s Bank account.

The investigation revealed the check was stolen from the Huntingdon Valley Post Office sometime between July 22 and July 24, 2022, and was then altered to be payable to “Diani Spady” for over $5,000.

After reviewing video surveillance and bank records, Lower Moreland Police Detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Diani Indelicato-Spady.
