Macy’s Court in the Willow Grove Park Mall is celebrating National Reading Month and the start of spring with a Bunny Book Bash event on Saturday, March 9, 11:00am – 1:00pm. 

The day will include a meet and greet with Daniel Tiger, Peppa the Pig, and Dr. Seuss, and storytime with Classroom Adventure Stories. There will also be balloon twisting with Moments by Max, create your own bookmark, and a cozy book nook.

Storytime with Classroom Adventure Stories from 11:30am – Noon:

Our favorite local author and storyteller, Don Dougherty will perform his interactive adventure story – “A Not-So-Typical Campfire Story”!  During the story, everyone in the audience will experience an earthquake, a small forest fire, a thunderstorm, and other fun adventures!  Mr. Don’s performance starts at 11;30 a.m., but please come a little bit early so that your child’s name can be added to the story, as one of the main characters.

The first 150 kids to attend will receive a pre-packaged chocolate chip cookie.

Guests may bring a book to donate to the book nook and The Salvation Army Greater Philadelphia.
