According to a spokesperson for PREIT, a man suspected of theft injured himself after jumping over a second floor railing at the Willow Grove Park Mall while attempting to flee the scene.

The suspect remains hospitalized and will face criminal charges. The incident, which happened around 7:00pm on Friday, April 14, was captured in a widely-circulated video:

According to Philly Voice, the suspect is expected to be charged with robbery and theft.
