North Crossing Apartments at 3625 Welsh Road in Willow Grove (Upper Moreland Township) has been sold for $27.6 million to New Jersey-based Friedman Realty Group, The Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
The 145-unit complex had been owned by Moreland Hall Inc. for 55 years and was 97% leased at the time of the sale.
Renovations totaling several million are underway and “include new siding, landscaping, adding lighting on the site, and redoing kitchens and adding plank flooring in the units,” The Journal said. A new clubhouse that could include offices and amenities such as a fitness center, barbecue area and dog park, is being considered.
