The National Weather Service is predicting heavy rain on Saturday followed by mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions on Sunday.

According to their forecast, 1-2 inches are expected beginning early Saturday morning. Accuweather’s forecast for Glenside notes that “areas of flooding and difficult travel likely.”

Sunny, with a high near 49. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Rain, mainly after 2am. Low around 39. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Saturday

Rain. High near 51. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Saturday Night

A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday

Mostly sunny, with a high near 49. Breezy.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 33.
