Jenkintown Borough announced today that Walnut Street will be closed from 7:00am to 3:00pm on Tuesday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 21 so that PECO’s contractor, Danella, can safely upgrade the gas main.

Approximately 100′ of gas main is expected to be installed during those days (weather/circumstances permitting).

Property owners, residents and business owners in this area will have access to their properties during this time but can expect intermittent delays, officials said. Please make plans to take an alternate route during these days.
