Upper Moreland police share details of 8 recent arrests

The Upper Moreland Police Department has shared the details of the following arrests:

Tiffany Collins

Collins, 33, of Philadelphia was arrested on June 13 at 4:43pm for Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, the department said.

According to the report, an Upper Moreland officer observed a vehicle on Moreland Road in Willow Grove that had been reported stolen out of Philadelphia. Collins was found to be operating the stolen vehicle and in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. 

Ilya Reznikov

Reznikov, 33, of Willow Grove was arrested on July 23 at 6:53pm for False Identification to Law Enforcement.

Accordin to the report, an officer noticed Reznikov pushing an unregistered motorcycle at or around 3401 Moreland Road in Willow Grove. Upon investigation, Reznikov repeatedly gave false identifying information to avoid arrest for outstanding warrants. 

Guillermo Lopez Ramirez

Lopez Ramirez, 33, of Willow Grove was arrested on July 21 at 3:50am for Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon), Harassment, Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

Police said that Lopez Ramirez is accused of attempting to injure another person with a knife during an altercation on Easton Road in Willow Grove.

Daniel Hesney

Hesney, 43, of Maple Glen was arrested on July 14 at 1:38am for Driving Under the Influence Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

During a traffic stop, Hesney was found to be impaired while operating a motor vehicle at 1000 Easton Road in Willow Grove, police said. While attempting to hand the Officer his driver’s license, Hesney instead handed over a controlled substance that he was not prescribed. 

Bonnie Hampton

Hampton, 63, of Norristown was arrested and charged on July 12 at 3:00pm with Access Device Fraud, Conspiracy To Commit Access Device Fraud, Theft of Services and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Services.

Hampton is accused of failing to pay for $240 worth of beverages over numerous occasions at Big Heads, located at 601 York Road in Willow Grove.

According to the report, Hampton acted in concert with Scott Brown (below) to use a card that would decline to avoid payment.

Scott Brown

Brown, 53, of Telford was arrested and charged on July 12 at 3:00pm with Access Device Fraud, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Access Device Fraud, Theft of Services, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Services and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended.

Eric Evans

Evans, 36, of Philadelphia was arrested on July 12 at 5:57pm for Operating Vehicle Without Interlock and several traffic violations.

During a traffic stop, Evans was found to be operating a motor vehicle in the area of Easton and Fitzwatertown roads in Willow Grove that was not equipped with an ignition interlock device as required by restrictions placed on his driver’s license. 

Wardell Quitman

Quitman, 57, of Philadelphia was arrested on July 25 at 2:32pm for Retail Theft and Theft by Unlawful Taking.

Wardell is accused of stealing $268 worth of merchandise, including clothing, sheets and food items, from the Walmart at 2101 Blair Mill Road in Willow Grove.
