Upper Moreland police searching for debit/credit card thief, $2K in unauthorized purchases

The Upper Moreland Police Department recently announced that on Sunday, April 9 at approximately 2:00pm, officers responded to a theft at Pennypack Trail.

According to police, $200 in cash and multiple debit/credit cards were stolen from a vehicle before the thief left Blair Mill Road on foot. The cards were used at the Willow Grove Walmart a short time later. The thief purchased nearly $2,000 in pharmacy items using the unauthorized cards.
