Upper Moreland police release details of three recent arrests

The Upper Moreland Police Department has shared the details of three recent arrests:

Michael Avery (pictured above)

Avery, 32, of Levittown was arrested on June 28 at 11:07am at 1035 Easton Road in Willow Grove for Simple Possession and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M).

According to police, Avery was found to be in possession of a controlled substance while being taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

Benita Bagby

Bagby, 51, no fixed address was arrested on June 25 at 8:31 am at 91 N York Road in Willow Grove for Criminal Trespass.

Police said Bagby was found in a vacant apartment which she was not given permission to enter. 

Melicia Edmonds

Edmonds, 36, of Philadelphia was arrested on June 29 at 6:50pm at the Willow Grove Walmart (2101 Blair Mill Road) for Retail Theft.

According to police, Edmonds is accused of stealing $378 worth of food, clothing and household items from the Walmart.
