The Upper Moreland Police Department welcomed Officer Kaeli White to the force this week.

According to their announcement, Officer White graduated from the Montgomery County Police Academy on Wednesday, December 13 and will begin a rigorous three-month training program with UMPD field training officers on Sunday December 17.

Pioneer Fire Company in Jenkintown welcomed Michael Cole, Chuck Ward, and Vince Willie.

According to their announcement, the three new firefighters graduated from Firefighter I, a basic firefighter certification course, on Thursday, December 7.

The course began in August, included 200+ hours of training, and carries Pro Board Accredited Certification which is recognized by the National Fire Protection Association.

As a part of the course the members also receive training and certification in First Aid CPR & AED, National Incident Management System, and Hazardous Materials, the announcement said.
