Upper Moreland police looking to identify subjects who spraypainted swastikas, ‘vulgar words’ on elementary school property and nearby buildings

The Upper Moreland Police Department announced that it received multiple reports of vandalism to the Upper Moreland Elementary School property and nearby buildings over the weekend.

Two subjects in a red sedan entered the parking lot of the Upper Moreland Elementary School from Byberry Road on Saturday March 8 at 11:50pm, then drove to the back of the school and used spray paint to “tag” the building and playground equipment “with swastikas and other vulgar words and drawings”, police said.

The vehicle left the parking lot at 12:10am.

If you can identify the vehicle or the subjects, you are asked to email Detective Davido at mdavido@uppermoreland.org, call 215-657-4700, or submit a tip anonymously at uppermorelandpd.org.
