The Upper Moreland High School Marching Unit took first place at the USBands Pennsylvania Group V Open State Championship on Saturday, October 19.
The unit performed “A World Where We Belong!” and earned a final score of 94.2. Additional awards included Best Music, Best Visual, Best Overall Effect, and Best Color Guard.
The unit took first place at the Cavalcade of Bands State Championships in 2023 and performed in the 6ABC Action News Yard last week.
They move on to the 56th annual “Music in Motion” Home Show at Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove on Saturday, October 26.
They will finish their competitive season at the USBands National Championships at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, November 2.
