Jordan Alexander Medina, 21, of the 2500 block of Veser Lane in the Willow Grove section of Upper Moreland Township, was sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months in prison for downloading images of child pornography to his cellphone in June 2022, Mainline Media News reported.

Medina previously pleaded guilty to felony charges of possession of child pornography, criminal use of a communication facility and possessing an instrument of crime. He will also have to report his address to state police for 15 years to comply with the state’s Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act, previously known as Megan’s Law.

The investigation began when county detectives received a “CyberTip” from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding images of child pornography being uploaded to a cellphone number linked to Medina, Mainline Media said.

A forensic review of his cellphone revealed approximately 20 images/videos of child sex abuse material “which contained female children around the age of 10 years old and younger in various states of nudity, with many performing prohibited sexual acts”, the article said.
