The Upper Moreland School District recently shared their Sports Hall of Fame inductees for 2024. They are:
Toby Fisher, Class of 1994
According to DoublePlayCamps.com, Fisher went on to play baseball at LaSalle University where he ranks among the top ten in many single-season and career hitting and pitching records, and was named to the A-10 All-Tournament Team his senior year. He is the former Assistant Coach at LaSalle University and Pitching Coach at Temple University.

Amy Silcox Holman, Class of 1985
Andrew Magaha, Class of 2012
Magaha went on to run for the University of Pennsylvania.
Career Accolades:
– 2014 NCAA Championships qualifier in the outdoor 800 meters
– Two-time Second-Team Indoor All-Ivy (500 meters in 2014; 800 meters in 2015)
– Seventh all-time at Penn in the outdoor 800 meters (1:49.47)
– Eighth all-time at Penn in the indoor 500 meters (1:03.94)
– Eighth all-time at Penn in the indoor 800 meters (1:51.49)
2014-15: Second-team Indoor All-Ivy (800 meters) … Also scored at Indoor Heps as member of the 4×800 relay (fourth) … Scored at Outdoor Heps as member of the 4×400 relay team (fifth).
2013-14: Qualified for NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 800 meters … Second-team Indoor All-Ivy (500 meters) … Also scored at Indoor Heps as member of the 4×800 relay (fourth).
2012-13: Won the 1,000 meters at first collegiate meet (Dec. 7) and missed remainder of indoor season … Won 800 meters at first career outdoor meet at Philadelphia College Classic (March 23).
Shannon Feite Meakim, Class of 1993
Meakim went on to play for St. Joseph’s University. From St. Joseph’s athletics page:
First inductee for women’s lacrosse… Program’s all-time scoring leader with 171 goals, 72 assists and 243 points… Holds single-game record for goals in a game, scoring 10 against Notre Dame in 1997… Recorded three straight seasons with over 60 points… Owns three of the top 10 marks for single-season goals scored… Chosen as the Hawks’ Most Valuable Player in 1996 and 1997 and the team’s Most Outstanding Offensive Player three times… Was a four-year letterwinner and two-year starter for the field hockey team… Member of SJU’s team that captured the Atlantic 10 championship in 1995, while posting a 16-6 record… Ranked third in scoring on the 1996 team with six goals and an assist… Received Saint Joseph’s Class of 1950 award in 1997, as the top graduating female student-athlete… Currently teaches in the Upper Moreland (Pa.) school district… Resides in Hatboro, Pa., with her husband, Jim, and their four children.
