Upper Dublin has opened a warming station at the Fort Washington Fire House due to power outage

PECO shows a power outage impacting 79 accounts along Dillon Road in Upper Dublin Township. The township reports that the outage was caused by a downed tree. Due to the freezing weather, the township has opened a warming station at the Fort Washington Fire House, effective immediately. The station is located at 1245 Fort Washington Avenue.

The township offered that this is a warming station only (with electricity available to charge phones). Any visitors are asked to bring any personal items they may need, including phone chargers, medications, medical equipment, and comfort items.

The warming station will remain open for as long as the power outage continues.
