Abington Township Police reported that a purse was snatched from a women in the Keswick Village area on Thursday evening, May 3, 2018, near the Weldon Soda Fountain location.

As police arrived around 7:40 p.m., the 59 year old woman described the white male who fled with her purse. Witnesses chased the suspect and provided information to the police who were then able to catch the male on the 400 block of Abington Avenue. The male is identified as Michael Bee from Cheltenham Township. Bee was arraigned and held on $5,000 bail
