The Abington Township Police Department announced today that the male who committed an aggravated assault on Wednesday, September 18 at a laundromat in the Roslyn section of Abington Township is now in custody.
According to police, the male entered the laundromat and delivered several punches to the face of a female who was folding clothes. He then fled eastbound on Woodland Road while carrying a blue shopping bag.
The attack caused lacerations, swelling, and fractured bones, for which the victim was subsequently transported by ambulance to the hospital due to the severity of her injuries.
The victim told police that she had never seen or met the male who attacked her.
