Ollie’s Orchestra Field Day
Ollie’s Orchestra, an Elkins Park-based nonprofit that provides musical instruments and music education to children with cancer, will host the 4th Annual Ollie’s Orchestra Field Day on Sunday, September 21 at the Abington Arts Center in Jenkintown.

What to expect:
A fun-filled day with food, games, crafts, and live performances from local musicians. The event is free for all pediatric oncology patients and their families.
Our mission:
At Ollie’s Orchestra, we provide quality instruments and resources to infants, children, and adolescents with a cancer diagnosis — in both inpatient and outpatient settings. We also raise awareness and fund research toward more effective, less toxic therapies for pediatric brain cancer.
Impact of last year’s Field Day:
Thanks to our community, we fulfilled music backpack and guitar requests for many partner organizations — including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Cincinnati Children’s, Texas Children’s, St. Jude’s, the Jimmy Fund, Ronald McDonald House, and Sunrise Day Camp – Greater Philadelphia — while also contributing to urgently needed pediatric brain cancer research.

Elkins Park Fall Fest
The Elkins Park Fall Fest will be held on Saturday, October 4 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at 7903 High School Road in Elkins Park (Cheltenham Township).

Enjoy live music, delicious food, local vendors, refreshing drinks, pumpkin sales, fun games for the whole family, and so much more. Come celebrate the season with us at the outdoor sitting area of Elkins Nutrition—fun, food, and friends await!
Oktoberfest
The Abington Township Police Department will host an Oktoberfest from 12:00pm – 4:00pm on Saturday, October 25 at the Abington Arts Center in Jenkintown.

Come join us for a fun-filled Oktoberfest! Grab your lederhosen and get ready to enjoy traditional German music, delicious food, and of course, beer. The event will take place at the Abington Art Center on October 25, 2025 from 12:00 PM- 4:00pm. Prost!
All proceeds benefit ATPA(Abington Township Police Association) and CAPT (Citizens and Police Together)
