PhillyBurbs.com reported that the Pennsylvania Senate Law & Justice Committee recently voted 10-1 to approve a bill that would allow a patient’s doctor to certify medical cannabis as a suitable treatment regardless of the patient’s medical condition.

Both bills will move to the full Senate for consideration. PA’s Medical Marijuana Program was signed into law in 2016.
