Travel news site offers interactive Fall Foliage Map

Smokymountains.com, a travel news website, has published an interactive Fall Foliage Map with visual predictions of our area’s colors.

The map offers visual data from September 4 until November 20, as well as the science behind the color shifts and the eventually falling of leaves in autumn.

From the site:

The 2023 Fall Foliage Map is the ultimate visual planning guide to the annual progressive changing of the leaves. While no tool can be 100% accurate, this tool is meant to help travelers better time their trips to have the best opportunity of catching peak color each year.
