Keswick Village does currently have an excellent diner called the Village Diner, but back in the 1940s this amazing gem of a structure was placed somewhere on Easton Road.
The images comes from a post card likely printed soon after the diner opened its doors. What has happened to it since remains a mystery, so if you have any stories to tell about this beauty, please let us know.
This structure was built in Haledon, New Jersey by Paramount Diners, Inc., sometime in the early-to-mid 1950s, and it features its trademark “gazing ball” ornaments atop its corners. In fact, the company did use actual mirrored gazing ball lawn ornaments during the construction.
