Three Cheltenham grads seeing professional success: Evan S. Richman (2001), Dr. Eric Grossman (1990), Renee Zeidner (1966)

Richman, a 2001 graduate and a mortgage loan officer at Univest, was presented with the Affordable Housing Centers of Pennsylvania’s “Mortgage Lender of the Year” award on Saturday, April 26.

The Elkins Park native earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Economics from Temple University’s Fox School of Business in 2006.

Dr. Eric Grossman (above middle)

Dr. Grossman, a 1990 graduate and a well-respected OB/GYN physician at Virtua Voorhees Hospital in Camden County, New Jersey, was born on February 29, 1972. Every four years, he delivers the next generation of Leap Day babies.

Dr. Grossman co-founded Advocare Premier OB/GYN of South Jersey in 2008. An advocate of cutting-edge technology, he was the first physician in the region to perform a minimally invasive “robotic” hysterectomy using the da Vinci S HD Surgical System.

He is also trained and a highly regarded expert in minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures which can be used to treat fibroids ovarian cysts, abnormal uterine bleeding, and endometriosis.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University, Dr. Grossman attended Jefferson Medical College, earning his M.D. in 1998.

Jessica Kartalija (above right)

Kartalija isn’t actually a graduate of CHS, but her mother is the Class of 1966’s Renee Zeidner.

Kartalija, an anchor for CBS News Philadelphia, was honored with the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters’ “Broadcaster of the Year” award on Friday, April 26 in Harrisburg.

Zeidner, a retired special education teacher, graduated from Penn State University, as did Kartalija. She was involved in the Future Teachers of America, the Spirit Committee, the Social Committee, and played on the Panthers’ girls’ volleyball team.
