The storm that blew through this afternoon has knocked out power to thousands of accounts in the Glenside area. PECO reports that there are 13,671 accounts out in Abington Township, 8,565 in Cheltenham Township, 2,113 in Jenkintown, 229 in Rockledge, and 5,438 in Springfield Township. The Glenside area was the hardest hit area in Montgomery County.

There are too many outages to provide details on each one, but all are expected to be resolved by 8:00 p.m. Note that there are still some that are listed as pending assessment, but most are currently projected to be restored between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
