Thomas Cugini of Upper Moreland pleads guilty to using phone to film juvenile girls in Willow Grove Park Mall

Thomas Cugini, 33, of the 200 block of Quigley Avenue, Upper Moreland Township recently pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge in connection with incidents involving his cellphone and the Willow Grove Park Mall in August 2021.

Cugini allegedly used his cellphone to secretly film a juvenile in a store fitting room and to peer under another female’s skirt. His charge is that of possessing an instrument of crime.

The investigation began in August 2021 when Abington police received a report of an adult male filming a teenage girl in the mall’s Aeropostale. A 15-year-old girl reported that she noticed a shopping bag at the bottom of the fitting room stall door. According to her report, she immediately opened the stall door and observed a male standing outside the door holding the bag.
