Mark Mandeville & Raianne Richards
A married musical couple from Webster, Massachusetts with over seventeen albums to their name, Mandeville and Richards have toured consistently throughout the U.S. and Canada, and their songs reflect the experiences of factory workers, teachers, community organizers, and natives of post-industrial mill towns in central MA. Their unique live performances feature guitar, harmonica, ukulele, penny whistle, electric bass, and clarinet.
Each summer, the couple hikes 100+ miles of roads and trails within their home state as part of a two-week Massachusetts Walking Tour, stopping by a new town for a free concert each evening. The Tour has partnered with The National Parks Service, Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC), Freedom’s Way, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and the Trustees, with primary funding through grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council Program.

Angry Young Band: The Billy Joel Tribute
Based in Philadelphia and returning to Glenside for a special show, this seven-piece band will recreate Billy Joel’s album “The Stranger” from start to finish. Released in 1977, “The Stranger” put Billy on the map with singles Just The Way You Are, Movin’ Out, and Only The Good Die Young, Vienna, Scenes From An Italian Restaurant, and the title track.
The evening will include a second set featuring Joel’s biggest hits, concert classics, and fan favorites.

BYOB Policy:
The Ways Restaurant & Brewery will be selling beer both evenings. No outside beer will be permitted at the event, and BYO-Wine is allowed with a $10 corkage fee.
Parking:
Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the lot behind St. Paul’s Lutheran Church off of Mt. Carmel Avenue. At-your-own risk parking is available at the Glenside Train Station. Street parking is also available.
