The Ways Brewery to Open in Glenside Next Year

In July Glenside Local ran a story on a liquor license application in Glenside (Cheltenham Township). The pending license for Wolf Stone Brewing will be for The Ways Restaurant & Brewery on 11 S. Easton Road (old Auch Printing Building) across from the Glenside Train Station.

Glenside Local sat down with Tim Way to discuss his partnership with his brother Steven.   The Ways Restaurant & Brewery is slated to open early in 2019. They are still in the process of permitting and space design. The Way brothers were raised in Jenkintown.  Steven now lives in Wyncote and Tim lives near Lake Nockamixon. Steven and Tim are both passionate about micro-brewing. Tim completed the American Brewer Guild Association’s Intensive Brewing Science & Engineering Brewery in Planning Program in Vermont last year. Tim worked for Weyerbacher Brewery in Easton, PA.  Steve is the owner of Smokin Taco’s food truck which has been part of the Glenside Food Truck Festival as well as many other festivals.

The Ways will seat 75 guests and feature traditional ‘pub grub with a unique flair’ plus hardy seasonal menus with plentiful vegetarian selections. They will offer house-made desserts to complete the dining experience.

The Ways Restaurant and Brewery will offer a variety of fresh, handcrafted beers on tap with rotating Pennsylvania guest taps and traditional cocktails crafted from spirits sourced at regional distilleries and wineries.

The Ways will be open for dinner Wednesday thru Sunday and serve brunch on the weekends.  Once the Ways Restaurant & Brewery opens in its newly renovated space there will be two separate dining rooms and a full bar, as well as an outdoor area with picnic style seating. The Ways will offer take-out dinner specials and beer in crowlers or growlers for folks including those coming off the trains at Glenside Station before walking or driving home.
