The Tookany Valley Chronicles: Pet Adoption Edition – Maggie Mae

“Maggie Mae is seeking a new home,” according to Ms. Katie Nagy, Humane Educator at the Montgomery County SPCA.

According to Ms. Nagy, Maggie Mae is described in her SPCA file as “an approximately 6-year-old schnauzer mix.  She was reportedly found in an alley by the individual who brought her into the shelter.  She is shy and should go to a home without children.  She also seems to prefer the company of women.”

“Although she is shy, she is not showing aggression and is being given a lot of attention at the Abington location to help her come out of her shell,” her SPCA file continued.

“If you have a quiet home where Maggie Mae can feel comfortable then she would be a great dog for you,” stated Ms. Nagy.  “Please contact the Montgomery County SPCA Abington location for more details and to request an application to adopt Maggie Mae.”

If asked, the file number for Maggie Mae is A282556.
