First game begins at 7:30pm. $5 to enter, 2 cards to start. Additional cards for sale at the door. The Royal’s cards will be filled with various songs, artists, and bands. 10 seconds of a song will be played, and players find it on their cards.
Prizes will be given out every game. Kid-friendly snacks and drinks will be for sale.

About the event
The Edge Hill Rounders have a distinctive sound. Tim and Paul draw inspiration for their vocal harmonies from brothers like Ira and Charlie Louvin and from legendary pairings like Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman of the Flying Burrito Brothers. This is layered over bass, percussion, fiddle and guitar with a healthy dose of mandolin picking. At an Edge Hill Rounders performance you will hear original compositions, as well as some of your favorite songs and some that you don’t know but wish you had discovered a long time ago.
Tim Cheney: mandolin, vocals, shirts |Tim began playing mandolin as a teenager in South Carolina. After playing guitar in country bands such as The Beer Chasers and rock bands such as Glenside Gamblers, he has returned to his musical roots. Tim has written and co-written original songs with The Edge Hill Rounders.
Paul Mamolou: guitar, vocals, galoot | Paul’s entire life has been full of music. He still owns the mandolin his grandfather bought when he came to the US from Greece in 1907, the year Paul was born!
He was fortunate to get a job at the legendary Main Point in Bryn Mawr, PA while attending Villanova University, where he had the opportunity to meet many of his musical inspirations including Townes Van Zandt, Robert Hunter, the Talking Heads, John Lee Hooker, Tom Rush and many more. He has toured the country playing music including gigs in Boulder CO, the Seattle Center, Victoria BC and numerous gigs on the Pacific coast from Mill Valley to LA.
Paul is honored to be involved with musicians of the caliber of those in the Edge Hill Rounders. Paul has written and co-written original songs with The Edge Hill Rounders.
John Mahony: fiddle, guitar and vocals | John is a long time Philadelphia Folk Fest performer. He is a 10 time winner of the Martin guitar showcase. In addition to the Rounders, John can be seen performing with numerous local Irish and Folk bands and the Rolling Stones as well as the Ambler Symphony.
Chris Gately: drums, percussion | A veteran of the Philadelphia music scene. Chris has played with some of the best local bands including Beaufort and Valley Creek. Chris is also a master sound engineer, mixer and producer.
Danny Kaye: bass | Dan is our band mystery man. His musical history can not be revealed since he has entered the witness protection program.
Joining the Rounders at the Royal will be special guest Joe Mass. Joe Mass- One of Philadelphia’s top guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He is a studio musician for many great acts. The last several years Joe has led the group Broken Arrow a Tribute Band to Neil Young in sold-out shows across America as well as various solo projects.
The Planets are a blues/rock group that features Joel Planet on lead guitar and vocals, Nancy Planet on percussion and vocals, Dr. Rob Planet on bass and Bob Bauers Planet on drums. Their blues rock sound is sure to melt your face and get you moving!
