The Royal has been selected for the 2022 Best of Glenside Award in the Live Music Venue category by the Glenside Award Program.
“The staff and I are really grateful for this award because we’ve worked really hard to bring great performances to Glenside,” owner Bridgett Gordon said. “It’s a really beautiful space, and I’m honored to have been nominated. It means a lot to all of us that someone went out of their way to do that. It’s been a lot of work during a really difficult time. We signed the lease just as we thought we were coming out of the pandemic in April 2021, and that’s not exactly how it happened. This award came at a really cool time.”
