The Marketplace at Huntingdon Valley has been sold to Wilder, a Boston-based retail real estate development, leasing, and management firm which announced the acquisition on Tuesday.
The 257,000 sf community shopping center at 2010 County Line Road is approximately 95% occupied by 40 retailers including Weis Markets, LA Fitness, Penn Cinema, Starbucks, Chipotle, Dunkin’, Hand & Stone, and Pennsylvania Fine Wine & Good Spirits.
“The Marketplace at Huntingdon Valley represents exactly the type of asset we’re seeking as we continue to grow our investment platform,” said Brian Cosentino, senior vice president, acquisitions and new business at Wilder. “The center combines the durable fundamentals of a grocery-anchored property with exceptional demographics, established tenancy, and multiple opportunities to enhance long-term performance. We’re especially proud that this acquisition continues our relationship with J.P. Morgan Asset Management and creates a strong foundation for future investments.”
