The Highland Restaurant and Bar in Glenside is adding to its summer lineup with First Responders Day, held every Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

The offer begins this Thursday, May 30, and includes a 20 percent discount for all active/retired military, fire, and police personnel, EMTs, nurses, doctors, and local township employees.

“We have been here for a long time and we’re very invested in bettering the community,” co-owner Dan Katz said. “We want to be able to help the ones that are always there to help all of us. We are there to serve everyone, every day, and this is something special to serve those ones that always serve us.”
