The Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry at 3600 Welsh Road in Willow Grove will be hosting a Thanksgiving food drive from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, and from 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Sunday.

The pantry will be collecting Thanksgiving food items and $10 Giant gift cards which will be distributed to over 100 local families in need. Gift cards can be mailed in, dropped off at the church between 10:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, or dropped off at the food drive.

Thanksgiving food items include boxed stuffing, instant potatoes, canned vegetables (green beans, corn, yams, peas, etc.), cream of mushroom soup, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie filling, corn muffin mix, cake mix, icing, and brownies.

Other needed items include peanut butter and jelly, canned pasta, canned chili and beef stew, canned chicken, pasta and sauce, canned fruit, soups, fresh produce, hot dogs, and ground beef.

Needed non-food items include toilet paper, detergents, soap, and toothpaste.
