SRI Psychological Services, a private practice in Jenkintown since 1995, has expanded into a second suite in the Jenkintown Pavilion.

The suite houses the practice’s new Child & Adolescent Teen division, which features a growing team of therapists who treat a host of conditions including but not limited to ASD, Trauma, ADHD, anxiety and depression.

“Part of the reason we expanded was because we were at capacity, so we sat down and created a roadmap and we tinkered with it until we got it right,” Rachel Glasser, an SRI spokesperson, said. “We’re really here to help the community. We’ve hired about 10 new therapists in the last year.”

To meet the needs of the thousands of patients who walk through their doors each year, SRI employs roughly 30 mental health professionals, including male, female, and non-binary therapists. SRI’s staff includes licensed psychologists, certified school psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, professional counselors and psychiatric services.

The practice offers services to preschoolers, adolescents, adults, couples, and families usina variety of modalities such as Art Therapy, CBT, DBT, EMDR, Psychotherapy, Play therapy and Sandtray therapy. 

SRI is in network with most insurance companies and offers both virtual and in person appointments.

“We have open availability and we’re flexible with payment plans and scheduling. Most places have a long wait list, but people can get an appointment tomorrow if they need to,” Glasser said. “Most of our patients are in ongoing treatment and are with us for at least five sessions.”

“We’re here to try and serve the people that need it,” Glasser said. “Our providers really do care, and they’re highly qualified.”
