The Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great in Jenkintown is celebrating Sister Theodosia (75), Sister Chrysostom (70) and Sisters Ann, Monica and M. Bernadette (60) upon the anniversaries of their years in religious right.

“Together, you have offered God 325 years of services, which equates to more than 118,000 days of prayer and sacrifice,” Metropolitan Archbishop of Philadelphia Borys Gudziak said.

“In my prayers of gratitude, I try to imagine all those thousands of people who have been deeply touched by your faithful care and witness. I thank God who called you to religious life and has accompanied you through different, sometimes turbulent times. You teach us – priests and bishops – how to be faithful and cherish our vocation. I am proud to be your student and still open to learn a lot from you,” Gudziak said.
