Serial thieves dubbed ‘The Bicycle Burglars’ hit two shops in Lower Moreland, now behind bars

A pair of burglaries in Lower Moreland Township have been part of a larger-scale investigation spanning the Philadelphia region. The suspects, Asher Aziz and Tony Kimhong, have been dubbed “The Bicycle Burglars.”

The Be Well Bakery and Cafe in Lower Moreland was one of those businesses hit. Owner Ryan Glunz told CBS News that security videos show two individuals breaking in and taking off with about $800 in cash.

A similar incident took place at Circle Cycle, a bike store in Lower Moreland, where one of the suspects left his bike and stole a new bike worth $1400. $400 in cash was also stolen.

Officers in Lower Moreland launched a joint investigation with Philadelphia police after discovering a striking similarity among roughly 24 burglary incidents over the last six months.
